Marrakech Menara is unusually close to the city, just south-west of the walls, so the drive itself is short. The part worth knowing in advance is the medina: most riads stand in lanes that no car can enter. Your driver takes you to the nearest access point — usually the gate or square your riad names in its directions — and the last stretch is on foot, often with a porter the riad sends to meet you. Tell us the riad’s name and the gate it uses and the driver plans for it.

Beyond the city, the same airport serves the Atlas valleys, Essaouira on the coast and Agadir further south. Arrivals use one terminal complex; your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, the price covers the whole vehicle, and it does not change if your flight is late.
