Antalya Airport to the city centre: tram, bus, taxi or transfer

Four ways from the arrivals hall to the centre of Antalya — how each one works, where to find it and what it costs.

Antalya Airport lies on the eastern edge of the city, and there are four ways to reach the centre: the AntRay tram, a city bus, a taxi from the stand outside arrivals, or a private transfer booked before you fly. Which one suits you depends mostly on your luggage, the time you land and where exactly you are staying.

Everything below was checked against the airport operator and Antalya’s public transport company. Fares and timetables are set by the city and can change, so the official page for each option is linked underneath it.

AntRay tram

Antalya’s light-rail line runs between the airport and the city. The airport operator lists it as the Airport – Meydan – Fatih service, carrying passengers from Antalya Airport to the city centre, the Antalya Intercity Bus Terminal (Otogar) and Fatih — handy if you are staying near the line or travelling on by coach.

Fare: Full fare with an Antalyakart is 42.00 TL. A contactless bank card is charged 50.00 TL per boarding. Kullan-At tickets cost 112.00 TL for 2 rides or 250.00 TL for 5 rides.
How to pay: Tap an Antalyakart travel card, a Kullan-At ticket or a contactless bank card on the validator.
Timetable: Departure times are published by Antalya Ulaşım on its AntRay page (linked below).
Best for: Light luggage, and a hotel near the tram line or onward travel from the Otogar.
Good to know: With an Antalyakart, one change to another bus or tram is free between 5 minutes and 1 hour after boarding. Contactless bank cards and Kullan-At tickets do not get free changes.

City bus

City buses run from the airport to the city centre and to the Antalya Intercity Bus Terminal (Otogar). Departure times are in the Antalyakart mobile app, or you can call the Transportation Information Line on 0242 606 07 07.

Where to find it: The official timetable lists lines 400, 600 and 800 at the airport road stops. Check the route and times in the Antalyakart app before you board.
Fare: The same city fares as the tram: 42.00 TL with an Antalyakart, 50.00 TL per boarding with a contactless bank card.
How to pay: Antalyakart, Kullan-At ticket or contactless bank card.
Best for: The lowest fare, if you have time and little luggage.
Good to know: The Otogar is 4 km north of the city centre and is the hub for coaches along the whole Mediterranean coast and for minibuses within Antalya province. Minibuses to Kemer leave from the Kemer bus stop west of the city centre.

Taxi

Taxi stands are in front of the arrival exits of all terminals, so a taxi is the quickest option if you have not booked anything. Airport taxis are run by a cooperative, which also takes online reservations, and every driver carries a special airport identification tag.

Where to find it: At the taxi stands in front of the arrival exits of every terminal.
Fare: A fare signboard stands near the taxi rank — check it for your destination before you get in.
How to pay: The airport does not publish payment methods for taxis. Ask the driver before you set off whether you can pay by card.
Best for: Short trips into the city when you have not booked ahead.
Good to know: Look for the airport identification tag, and give the driver the full address of your hotel rather than just the district.

Tour operators have their welcome counters outside the terminal, and airline-owned buses leave according to arrival times — ask your airline whether one serves your flight. If a transfer is part of your package, find your operator’s counter before you queue for a taxi.
