Three ways from the arrivals hall into Ibiza Town — how each one works, where to find it and what it costs.

Ibiza Airport is 7 km south-west of Ibiza Town, and there are three ways in: the AERO3 airport bus, which runs direct between the terminal and the city, a taxi from the signed rank at the terminal, or a private transfer booked before you fly. Which one suits you depends mostly on your luggage, the time you land and where in town you are staying.

Alsa Ibiza runs the island’s buses, and the AERO3 line is the one built for this journey. The airport describes it as connecting the city of Ibiza with Ibiza Airport, offering a direct and convenient service between the city centre and the air terminal. Its special airport fare applies between the terminal and the stops from Isidor Macabich to the port.
Taxis wait at the signed rank at the terminal, and the airport is blunt about where to get one: always take a taxi from that rank and avoid drivers offering services from other points. Fares are regulated, and Aena publishes the full tariff along with the size of the fleet.
Book before you fly and a driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, follows your flight if it is late and takes you straight to your address. The price is fixed per vehicle and paid when you book, so there is nothing to sort out on arrival — the simplest option with children, a lot of luggage or a late landing.
