Can the driver take us to our door inside the walls?

No vehicle may enter the Old Town. The driver stops at Pile or Ploče gate — whichever is closer to your address — and helps with the luggage to there. Give the full address at booking so the right gate is chosen in advance.

Our booking just says “Dubrovnik”, not Old Town.

The price list has several Dubrovnik entries — the Old Town, the town generally and the port. They differ in where the driver stops, so check your accommodation’s address and book the matching one.

Dubrovnik Airport to Dubrovnik Old Town transfer

Private, fixed-price transfer between Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) and Dubrovnik Old Town. Your driver tracks your flight, waits if it is delayed and meets you in the arrivals hall — the price below is final, taxes and fees included. The same price applies in both directions.

A private transfer from Dubrovnik Airport to the Old Town runs north-west along the coast from Čilipi, and it ends differently from almost every other transfer: no vehicle can enter the walled city. The Old Town is closed to traffic entirely — not just narrow, but pedestrian by rule — so every arrival stops at a gate. The driver takes you to Pile on the western side or Ploče on the eastern, whichever is nearer your address, and helps with the luggage to that point. Inside, expect stone paving and, for the upper lanes, steps. Pack with that short walk in mind. The fare covers the whole vehicle and the driver waits for the actual landing.
